The Computer Architecture Group is again present at the International Supercomputing Conference (ISC) in Dresden, Germany. Research projects and developments both of the Computer Architecture Group and of the HyperTransport Center of Excellence (HTCE) will be shown in booth B19-B22, which is jointly operated by AMD and the Computer Architecture Group.

The new release of the HT-Core (v 1.00) is now available at the Center of Excellence for HyperTransport Technology. There are three different versions representing the platform ports for Xilinx, Lattice and Altera. Download....

On the 15th February the offical dedication ceremony took place in which the Institute of Computer Engineering has finally moved from the University of Mannheim to the University of Heidelberg.

The new 16-bit HT-Core is now available. Including LDTSTOP functionallity with 200Mhz link speed. An updated user manual and the cHT-Core version will follow soon.

The Research Partner Agreement between Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) and the Computer Architecture Group (CAG) at the University of Mannheim was signed. The CAG will operate a Center of Excellence for research on HyperTransport technology.

The Hypertransport Consortium (www.hypertransport.org) today published two press releases about the Computer Architecture Group and the HTX-BOARD. The first press release ( pdf-version) reports about the joining of two prestigious Academic Institutions, one of them is the Computer Architecture Group of the University of Mannheim. The second press release (pdf-version) reports in detail about our current project, the HTX-BOARD, which is a reference design within the Hypertransport Consortium.
